What the site does not do
The site has no accounts, no advertising, no advertising or remarketing profiles, no cross-context behavioral advertising, and no sale or sharing of personal information. It does not retain saved fantasy boards or game plans in an application database. It uses one measurement service, Google Analytics, described in full below.
Google Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (property G-RZ4MJLH35E) to
understand which parts of the site get used. Because The Kneeldown is a
single-page application, an ordinary install would record one pageview per
visit no matter how much of the site you walked through, so the app also sends
a tab_view event carrying the name of the tab you opened — for
example "Team Studio". Google acts as the operator's processor for this data;
the provider is Google Ireland Limited for visitors in the EEA, UK and
Switzerland, and Google LLC elsewhere.
Measurement is delivered through a single Google tag that reports to two properties in the same Google Analytics account, so each measurement described here is recorded twice: once in this site's property and once in the shared tag's own property. Both are controlled by the operator, neither is used for advertising, and your consent choice applies to both equally.
Advertising features are switched off at the tag: Google Signals, ad personalization signals and advertising storage are denied unconditionally and cannot be enabled by your choice. Google Analytics does not log or store full IP addresses; your IP is used in transit to derive an approximate (typically city-level) location and is then discarded.
Your choice, and what each option means
Analytics storage starts denied for every visitor. Nothing is stored on your device and no visitor identifier is created until you press Accept on the consent bar. In plain terms:

Google's enhanced measurement is enabled for this property, so alongside page and tab views it records scroll depth, clicks to outbound links, file downloads, site searches and video engagement. None of it involves an account or a name.
Changing your mind
Use the Analytics choice link in the site footer to reopen
the consent bar and switch your answer at any time; declining after you had
accepted stops further cookie-based measurement, and you can delete the
cookies already set by clearing this site's browser storage. You can also
install Google's
browser
opt-out add-on, which blocks Google Analytics on every site including this
one. Your choice is remembered in this browser's local storage under
kneeldown.consent.v1 — it is never sent to or stored on the app
server, so it is per-browser and per-device.
Legal basis, retention and transfers
Where consent is required, the legal basis for cookie-based analytics is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time as described above; the cookieless measurement described in the table rests on the operator's legitimate interest in understanding which features are worth maintaining. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in the Google Analytics property (Google's default for event and user data is 14 months) and is reported to the operator only in aggregate. Google may process this data in the United States and other countries under its standard contractual clauses and data-transfer framework commitments. Browser storage and workspace inputs
The Fantasy Draft Room can store up to 80 public player identifiers in your browser until you remove them or clear site storage. Game Planner can store the scripts and notes you choose to save in your browser. Your analytics choice is stored as described above. A session-only preference remembers whether the global filter bar is collapsed. These values are sent to the app server while a live session renders or edits the workspace, but the app does not intentionally write them to a database or usage log, and none of them are sent to Google. You can erase fantasy data with Clear, erase saved scripts in Game Planner, or clear this site's browser storage.
Uploads
If you import a scenario/script or choose a coach image, the server processes that file to provide the requested session feature. It is not published or retained in an app database. Upload only content you have permission to use and avoid putting sensitive personal information in free-text notes.
Operational connection data
Like ordinary web hosting, the server receives an IP address, browser user agent, requested path, and request time to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Nginx access and error logs are used for security and reliability and are rotated daily with 14 retained rotations. The legal basis, where required, is the operator's legitimate interest in secure and reliable service. Hosting and network providers may process this information as infrastructure providers. It is not used for advertising or behavioral profiles. This is separate from Google Analytics and happens whatever your analytics choice.
Your choices and rights
You can use the informational site without an account, decline analytics cookies, clear browser-saved workspace data at any time, and contact the operator to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or other rights available where you live. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
